Job summary

Marutee is seeking a CAE Engineer with hands-on experience in finite element analysis, structural simulations, and automotive component/assembly analysis. Proficiency with HyperMesh, OptiStruct, and Abaqus is required, with solid knowledge of linear and nonlinear analysis.

The role involves modeling, meshing, running various analyses, reviewing results, and coordinating with CAD/Testing teams to deliver robust designs for automotive programs in Bangalore.

Qualifications

• Experience in FE analysis of automotive components and assemblies.
• Hands-on proficiency with HyperMesh, OptiStruct and Abaqus.
• Solid understanding of linear and nonlinear analysis concepts.

Responsibilities

• Perform FE modeling and analysis of automotive components and assemblies.
• Create 1D, 2D, and 3D meshes using HyperMesh.
• Conduct Linear Static, Nonlinear, Modal, Frequency Response, Thermal, and Thermo-Mechanical analyses.
• Perform durability and fatigue analysis and predict component life.
• Carry out static and modal simulations using OptiStruct/Abaqus.
• Review results, identify design issues, and provide engineering recommendations.
• Support component testing, design optimization, and validation activities.
• Prepare technical reports and project documentation.
• Coordinate with CAD, CFD, testing, and other engineering teams.
• Handle projects from estimation through final delivery and interact with customers when required.

Key Responsibilities
