Job summary

Galacon Infrastructure And Projects seeks a capable site supervisor to oversee day-to-day civil construction activities at the project site in Indore. You will ensure work is performed according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements and schedules, coordinating with the Project Manager, QA/QC, contractors and consultants.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervising civil site execution and reading drawings.
• Knowledge of RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, masonry, plastering and finishing works.
• Ability to measure quantities and maintain site records.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage day-to-day civil construction activities at the project site.
• Ensure work follows approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project schedules.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, Planning Engineer, QA/QC Engineer, contractors and consultants.
• Check and monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and progress at site.
• Read and interpret civil, structural, and architectural drawings.
• Ensure execution of RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, masonry, plastering, flooring and finishing works.
• Take site measurements and maintain records of executed quantities.
• Coordinate with QA/QC for inspections and maintain quality standards.
• Identify site issues and coordinate for timely resolution.
• Monitor daily progress and submit Daily Progress Reports (DPR).
• Ensure compliance with specifications, safety requirements, and approved procedures.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors for timely completion.
• Assist in material planning and resource utilization.
• Monitor work per project schedule and support milestones.
• Maintain site documentation, records, drawings, and inspection reports.
• Ensure safe working practices at the construction site.
