Job summary

Vema Solar seeks a Site Supervisor electrical to lead on-site activities at project locations across India. You will assign tasks, supervise execution, ensure safety, and coordinate with project managers on schedules and milestones.

The role requires 1-8 years in electrical engineering, with 1-3 years in Solar PV. Familiarity with MS Project and project management concepts is preferred; Telugu language skills are a plus. Accommodation may be provided.

Qualifications

• ITI/Diploma/Graduate in electrical engineering with 1-8 years of experience
• At least 1-3 years in Solar PV sector
• Knowledge of project management concepts; familiar with MS Project or similar software

Job description

Role & responsibilities

Project site management.

• Assign and supervise task as per schedule.
• Inform workers and ensure safety norms and work procedures.
• Ensure site activities and installations as per electrical designs drawings.
• Manage site schedules as per time lines and milestones.
• Resolve site related issues.
• Testing of installations and systems.

Sales support

Shall perform site survey, collect the input from the client

Good to have :

Shall be able to independently perform the detailed

engineering activities like Single line diagram, Module

Mounting structures, Cable, Earthing, Lightning routing etc.

Reporting

• You will report to the Project head .
• As for the project /sales support requirement would need to travel different parts of India and international locations.

Reportees

• Site working Teams, as for the project life cycle requirement.

Location:

Will be located at the projects location, as for the requirement

Preferred candidate profile

Requirements

Essential skill set required

• The Site supervisor ITI (with 7Y+ exp)/ Diploma (2Y+ exp)/Gradute (1Y+) in electrical engineering.
• He should have 1-8 years of experience, as above. Out of these at least 1-3 years in Solar PV sector .
• knowledge of project management concepts and familiar with one of the software like MS project, etc is desired.
• Leadership & team carrying ability.
• Good verbal communication, knowledge of Telegu language is preferred.

Prior experience : Fresher / 2-4 years in related field ( PV solar roof top installation and commissioning)
