Job summary

Human Development & Research Foundation in India seeks a site‑level leader to drive solar energy and power evacuation projects. You will coordinate multi‑team and vendor efforts to ensure timely, high‑quality delivery.

Responsibilities include IS Code compliant on‑site execution, BOQ design checks, erection, commissioning and O&M of electrical systems, planning LT/11 kV/33 kV works, and rigorous safety/IMS adherence.

Qualifications

• Lead and manage site-level solar energy and power evacuation projects.
• Execute on-site per IS Code for Solar Plant & Power Evacuation.
• Plan and supervise erection, commissioning, O&M of distribution systems, inverters, transformers, switchgear.

Responsibilities

• “Execution of work as per Design/Drawing, prepare BOQ and get it approved by customer.”
• Manage erection, commissioning, O&M of electrical systems (till HOTO) including inverters, transformers, switchgear & protection for solar projects.
• Plan and execute Electrical/Utility installation and commissioning of LT line, 11 kV/33 kV substation & LT panels.
• Ensure quality execution as per design standards.
• Prepare project progress MIS reports and update authorities.
• Coordinate with supply chain, vendors, and contractors at site.
• Oversee SCADA work and communication protocol schemes.

Job description

• This position shall be responsible for leading and managing the execution of solar energy and power evacuation projects at the site level. The role demands hands‑on technical expertise, leadership, and coordination across multiple teams and vendors to ensure timely and high‑quality project delivery.

Technical Skills

• Execute a project on site as per IS Code for Solar Plant & Power Evacuation.
• Execution of work as per the Design/Drawing, preparing BOQ and approved by the customer as per survey.
• Manage erection, commissioning, operation and maintenance of power distribution systems (till HOTO), Inverters, transformers, switchgear, Electrical Equipment's and protection For Solar Projects.
• Planning and executing the Electrical and Utility Installation and Commissioning activities of LT Line, AB cabling 11 KV Line, 33 Line & 33/11 KV substation & LT Panel.
• Ensure quality execution as per the design Standard.
• Preparation of Project progress, MIS reports & Updating respective authority about progress of projects
• Execution of Internal & External HT Line work.
• Execution & Supervision of Plant End Sub-station and HT Yard work.
• Erection & Supervision of CT, PT, Isolator, LA, DP Structure and yard Equipment's.
• Factory inspection for testing of various electrical Equipment's.
• Managing vendors at site level for quality work execution
• Site Co-ordination with Supply chain managements.
• Measurement and Bill Certification with clients & Contractors.
• Supervising Inverter Erection, Testing, Commissioning & Fault detection and reporting of the same to appropriate authority for the rectification.
• Supervising for erection of Solar PV system like Modules, cable Stringing, PV module Inter connection, Junction box erection testing & Commissioning.
• Supervising of SCADA work and Communication Protocol scheme.
• Supervising & Ensuring execution of Plant Earthing schemes.
• Bills checking & verification
• Coordination with plant, Logistics & stores for effective project execution.
• Team and handing over commissioned project in the given timeline.
• Initiate & complete HOTO processing
• Adherence to Organizational Safety Policy
• IMS implementation, records, Audit preparation.
• Inspection, testing & reporting of non-conformities in consultation with designated authorities.
