Job summary

SolutionBox Insight Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled Solar Site Engineer to oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar power systems at residential, commercial, and industrial sites.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with solar projects and strong knowledge of electrical systems. The role involves site surveys, reviewing electrical drawings, and ensuring safety and compliance across project sites.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE/BTech in Electrical, Electronics or Renewable Energy is required.
• 1-3 years of solar installation or EPC project experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical drawings and schematics.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and coordinate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the installation and commissioning of solar PV systems at the project site.
• Perform site surveys and assess technical feasibility.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, plans, and layouts.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations at the site.
• Coordinate with the project team, contractors, and vendors to meet timelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to solar installations.
• Conduct quality checks during and after installation.
• Prepare project reports, checklists, and documentation.
• Monitor system performance and assist in O&M (Operations & Maintenance).
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment.
