Jindal Renewables is seeking a Site Planner for project monitoring at site locations in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. You will develop detailed schedules, track progress, and coordinate with EPC contractors to ensure on-time delivery.

Ideal candidate has 5–10 years in EPC project planning, hands-on with MSP/P6 and advanced Excel, and experience in renewable energy projects. Willingness to work at remote project sites is required.

Qualifications

• B.Tech / BE Engineering required.
• 5–10 years experience in project planning / site execution in EPC projects.
• Experience in renewable energy projects (solar/wind/hybrid) preferred.
• Exposure to site coordination, scheduling, and contractor management.

Responsabilités

• Plan & schedule projects with detailed L1/L2/L3 timelines.
• Develop weekly and monthly execution plans based on site priorities and resources.
• Track progress against baselines; highlight delays, risks, and deviations.
• Prepare DPRs, weekly MIS, and progress dashboards for stakeholders.
• Lead site review meetings with internal, vendor, and contractor teams; record actions.
• Consolidate on-site data into actionable progress metrics for management.
• Conduct variance analysis and propose corrective actions.
• Track contractual milestones and ensure alignment with schedules.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and logistics to ensure material availability.
• Identify risks and develop recovery or acceleration plans.

Job Title: Site Planner

Department: Project Monitoring

Location: Project Sites (Karnataka/Tamil Nadu)

Reports to: Head Project Monitoring

Role & Responsibilities:

Planning & Scheduling

• Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules (L1/L2/L3) aligned with master timelines.
• Develop weekly and monthly execution plans based on site priorities and resource availability.
• Track progress against baseline schedules and highlight delays, risks, and slippages.

Progress Monitoring & Reporting

• Monitor daily site progress across engineering, procurement, and construction activities.
• Prepare and share DPRs, weekly MIS, and progress dashboards with corporate teams.
• Prepare and lead site review meetings with internal, vendor, and contractor stakeholders; keep

records, highlight risks & issues, and follow up for closure.

• Consolidate on-site data into clear, actionable progress metrics for stakeholders and corporate

management.

• Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective action plans.

Contract & Milestone Tracking

• Track contractual milestones, deliverables, and timelines for EPC contractors and vendors.
• Ensure alignment of execution with contractual obligations and project schedules.

Expediting & Coordination

• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely material availability.
• Work closely with the Expeditor to track critical packages and resolve bottlenecks.
• Liaise with contractors and vendors to ensure adherence to timelines.

Risk & Delay Management

• Identify potential risks impacting project timelines and elevate proactively.
• Support implementation of recovery plans and acceleration strategies.
• Monitor critical path activities and ensure focus on key deliverables.
• Formulate data-driven Recovery Plans or mitigation strategies (such as task crashing or

fast-tracking) to bring lagging timelines back on track.

Competencies:

• Strong understanding of project planning and scheduling concepts.
• Hands-on experience with MSP/P6 and advanced excel for scheduling and reporting.
• Good knowledge of EPC project execution (solar/wind preferred).
• Strong analytical and reporting skills (Excel-based MIS).
• Ability to work in fast-paced site environments and manage multiple stakeholders.

Education:

• B.Tech / BE Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Civil).

Experience:

• 5-10 years of experience in project planning / site execution in EPC projects.
• Experience in renewable energy projects (solar/wind/hybrid) preferred.
• Exposure to site coordination, scheduling, and contractor management.
• Hands-on planner with strong execution orientation.
• Comfortable working at remote project sites.
• Good communicator with ability to coordinate across teams and drive timelines.
