Job summary

Sunshell Power Ventures Pvt.Ltd. is seeking a hands-on Site Execution professional to lead rooftop and ground-mounted solar EPC projects across India.

You will supervise installation teams, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate with internal teams and vendors to meet drawings, BOQs, and commissioning requirements. Responsibilities

• Execute rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV projects from site mobilization to commissioning.
• Supervise installation teams, vendors, and subcontractors ensuring work aligns with drawings, BOQs and safety norms.
• Coordinate with Design, Procurement, and Stores for drawings, material receipt, inspection, and reconciliation.
• Assist in statutory processes including net metering, CEIG inspections, DISCOM coordination, and commissioning approvals.
• Maintain Daily Progress Reports, manpower logs, and material consumption records; escalate issues to the Project Manager.

Job Description

Role Objective

Execute on-site delivery of decentralized solar EPC projects by ensuring quality workmanship, safety compliance, statutory approvals, and accurate reporting, while coordinating closely with internal teams and vendors.

Location: PAN INDIA (Travelling required as per projects need)

Key Responsibilities

• 1. Site Execution & Supervision
  • * Execute rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV projects from site mobilization to commissioning.
  • * Supervise installation teams, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, BOQs, and safety norms.
  • * Ensure proper execution of civil, structural, electrical, and earthing works.
• 2. Quality & Safety Control
  • * Enforce SunShell quality checklists, OEM guidelines, and site safety protocols.
  • * Conduct routine inspections and immediately flag deviations or unsafe practices.
  • * Support corrective and preventive actions as directed by the Project Manager.
• 3. Coordination with Internal Teams
  • * Coordinate with Design for drawings, clarifications, and revisions.
  • * Coordinate with Procurement & Stores for material receipt, inspection, and reconciliation.
  • * Update Project Manager on site progress, constraints, and resource requirements.
• 4. Statutory & Client Coordination
  • * Assist in statutory processes including net metering, CEIG inspections, DISCOM coordination, and commissioning approvals.
  • * Support client site visits, inspections, and snag closure.
  • * Ensure statutory and client requirements are met as per project timelines.
• 5. Reporting & Documentation
  • * Maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPRs), manpower logs, and material consumption records.
  • * Prepare and compile test reports, commissioning documents, and handover dossiers.
  • * Ensure all site documentation is accurate, timely, and audit-ready.
  • * Identify site-level issues related to execution, materials, or manpower.
  • * Propose practical solutions and *Escalate* unresolved issues promptly to the Project Manager.
  • * Support smooth site demobilization and handover to O&M teams.
• 7. Site Deployment & Mobility
  • * Willingness to travel and stay at project sites across Chennai, and other southern region.
  • * Typical deployment of 2–6 weeks per site, depending on project size and complexity.

Requirements

Educational Qualification

Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in *Electrical / Mechanical / Civil Engineering

Experience & Domain Exposure

• * Hands-on experience in *solar EPC site execution* (rooftop and/or ground-mounted).
• * Exposure to *PSU / government projects* preferred.
• * Practical understanding of *electrical works, earthing, structures, and commissioning processes*.

Technical Skills

• * Ability to read and interpret drawings, layouts, and BOQs.
• * Working knowledge of net metering, CEIG, and DISCOM procedures.
• * Proficiency in MS Excel & Word for reporting.
• * Basic AutoCAD knowledge is preferred.
• * Strong site ownership and execution discipline.
• * Clear communication and structured reporting.
• * Willingness to work in a multi-site, fast-execution environment
