Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering is required.
• 5–10 years of civil construction site experience.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel and project scheduling tools.

Job Summary

Responsible for planning, executing, and supervising construction activities at project sites, ensuring quality, safety, timely completion, cost control, and adherence to approved drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Site Execution: Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities, including foundations, structural works, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, and finishing works.
2. Project Planning: Prepare daily work schedules, monitor progress against project timelines, and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
3. Quality Control: Ensure construction complies with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and applicable building codes.
4. Team Coordination: Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and internal project teams.
5. Material Management: Estimate material requirements, monitor consumption, minimize wastage, and ensure timely availability of materials at the site.
6. Labour Management: Allocate work to supervisors and contractors, monitor productivity, and ensure adequate manpower deployment.
7. Drawing & Technical Review: Read and interpret structural, architectural, and MEP drawings, identify discrepancies, and coordinate for timely resolution.
8. Cost Control: Monitor construction costs, verify contractor measurements and bills, and support budget adherence.
9. Safety Compliance: Ensure implementation of site safety procedures, use of PPE, housekeeping, and safe working practices.
10. Progress Reporting: Prepare daily progress reports (DPR), maintain site records, document work completed, and report delays or issues to management.
11. Inspection & Handover: Coordinate site inspections, rectify defects, monitor finishing quality, and support project completion and handover.
12. Documentation: Maintain measurement books, material records, inspection reports, contractor bills, and other project-related documentation.

Required Skills :

• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods and site execution.
• Proficiency in reading construction drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of construction materials, estimation, billing, and quality control.
• Strong coordination, team management, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, and project scheduling tools.
