Job summary

Bihariji Ispat Udyog is seeking a skilled Civil Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day construction activities at the project site, ensuring work aligns with approved drawings and quality standards. You will coordinate with contractors, manage resources, review drawings, monitor progress, and prepare daily reports while upholding safety and specifications.

Experience in RCC, masonry, waterproofing, and ability to read plans are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising civil construction and site execution.
• Ability to read architectural and structural drawings.
• Knowledge of quantity estimation, measurements, and billing.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel and MS Office.
• Understanding of construction quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage day-to-day civil construction activities at the project site.
• Ensure execution of work as per approved architectural and structural drawings.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, architects, and project teams.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
• Inspect the quality of civil works, materials, and workmanship.
• Verify measurements and quantities of completed work.
• Monitor manpower, materials, and equipment deployed at the site.
• Identify and resolve technical and execution-related issues at the site.
• Review drawings and coordinate with the design team for clarifications.
• Prepare and maintain daily progress reports, measurement sheets, and site documentation.
• Coordinate with the procurement team for timely availability of construction materials.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure proper utilization of resources.
• Ensure compliance with project quality standards, specifications, and safety procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure rectification of defects.
• Report project progress, delays, quality issues, and site requirements to the Project Manager.
