Job summary

SYSTRA in New Delhi seeks a Site Engineer-Office IT-2 to install and maintain core IT infrastructure for PM consultancy services tied to Mumbai- Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project. The role involves configuring networks, servers, storage, and related applications on site.

The candidate should have 5 years (engineering degree) or 7 years (diploma) of IT infrastructure experience, with hands-on work on DNS/DHCP/NTP and security hardware. A challenging railway project awaits.

Qualifications

• Engineering graduate with 5 years of IT infra experience or diploma with 7 years of experience.
• Experience installing and maintaining core network infrastructure and related applications including DNS, DHCP, NTP, and proxy.
• Knowledge of configuring and managing security devices and network hardware.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot core network infrastructure such as Firewall, L2/L3 Switches, Storage, Servers, Wi-Fi AP, CCTV.
• Configure and manage applications like DNS, DHCP, NTP, proxy.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues in Computers/Laptops, Printers, etc.
• Implement and manage data Backup and assist in data recovery in case of failures.
• Any other work required as assigned.

Profile/Skills

Minimum Qualification

Engineering Graduate/ Engineering Diploma in Information Technology/ Computer Science stream or equivalent.

Minimum Experience

Engineering Graduate with overall 05 years, or Engineering Diploma with overall 07 years of experience inmanagement and installation of IT infrastructure.
