Job summary

SYSTRA invites applications for the Site Engineer-IP Network position in Surat. The role focuses on supporting design review, installation, testing, and commissioning of telecom systems for a Mumbai–Ahmedabad High Speed Rail project.

You will coordinate with rolling stock, signalling, MEP, and SCADA interfaces and assist in approvals and payment processes. The candidate should have an engineering degree (B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics) with 5 years (BE/B.Tech) or 7 years

Qualifications

• Engineering graduate with BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics or equivalent.
• 05 years experience with BE/B.Tech or 07 years with Diploma implementing IP network of telecom systems in rail projects.
• Rail-based transit system project experience is preferred (High-Speed/Metro).

Responsibilities

• Assist in design review of telecom system and data backbone for field to control centers.
• Assist in installation, integration, testing and commissioning of telecom systems.
• Assist in interfacing telecom systems with rolling stock, signalling, MEP and SCADA; coordinate interface documents.
• Assist in payment requests to contractors and statuary approvals.
• Coordinate with agencies for project completion and assist PD and NHSRCL as required.

Systra is appointed to provide Project Management Consultancy Services for Works of Signalling & Telecommunication System, SCADA System, and Ticketing System Of Mumbai – Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project

We Are Seeking Applications

Missions/Main Duties

• Assist in Design review of Telecom System including sub systems for backbone of data transmission from field units to centralized control centres (DTS), Wireless Network, CCTV, Access Control, PIDS, PAS, Master Clock, EPBAX, Telecom SCADA etc.
• Assist in Installation, Integration, Testing & Commissioning of Telecom System.
• Assist in Interfacing of Telecom System with Rolling Stock, Signalling Subsystems, MEP, SCADA etc. and Interface document approval.
• Assist in verifying completed work and prepare request for payment to contractors.
• Assist NHSRCL in obtaining statutory approvals.
• Assist and coordinate with various agencies i.e. ISA, CMRS etc. for successful completion of the project.
• Assist in any other roles and responsibilities required to be performed to complete the project and assigned by PD and Client(NHSRCL).

Assist Section Engineer in their assigned works.

Any other work required to be performed to complete the project.

Profile/Skills

Min. Qualification: Engineering Graduate (B.E/B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical / Electronics stream or equivalent )

Min. Experience: Engineering Graduate with 05 years, or Engineering Diploma with 07 years of experience of implementing IP network of Telecommunication System during construction phase in Rail-based Transit System project(s)*

• Rail-based Transit System project(s) shall mean High-Speed Railways / Semi High-Speed Railways / Metro Railways projects as defined below:
• High-Speed Railways projects (ETCS based) with operational speed equal or greater than 250 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Semi High-Speed Railways including Urban/Suburban/ Intercity/ Regional Passenger Transit Systems, projects with operational speed equal to or greater than 160 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Metro Railways excluding LRT/Tram/Monorail Systems, projects shall only be considered for evaluation.
