Job summary

SYSTRA India is seeking a Section Engineer-Architect-1 for the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High Speed Rail project, based at site. You will design architectural, interiors and utilities buildings and review technical proposals and drawings to ensure quality and compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor of Architecture with about 7 years of experience in rail-based transit construction, including station/OCC/utility/depot works, and familiarity with green building features and applicable codes.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Architecture streams with 7 years of experience in the construction of station buildings, OCC buildings, utility buildings or depots in rail-based transit projects.
• Rail-based transit projects include High-Speed Railways, Metro Railways and related systems as described in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Design architectural, interiors and landscape for utility buildings.
• Review technical proposals and architectural drawings.
• Implement green building features on the project.
• Ensure firefighting and fire protection provisions per Indian and international codes.
• Perform other duties required to complete the project.

Hiring for Project Management Consultancy Services for Works of Signalling & Telecommunication System, SCADA System, and Ticketing System of Mumbai – Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project

Missions/Main Duties

This position shall report to Chief Expert/Dy. Chief Expert- Civil.The activities of the position shall include but not limited to:

• Designing of architectural, interiors, landscape of utility buildings etc.
• Review of Technical proposals, drawings of the architectural works.
• Implementation of green building features.
• Requirements of utility buildings for firefighting and fire protection as per relevant Indian and International Codes.
• Any other work required to be performed to complete the project.

Profile/Skills

Minimum Qualification : Graduate in Architecture streams 07 years of experience in construction of Station building /OCC building/ utility buildings/ depot building in Rail-based Transit System project(s)*.

• Rail-based Transit System project(s) shall mean High-Speed Railways / Semi High-Speed Railways / Metro Railways projects as defined below:
• High-Speed Railways projects (ETCS based) with operational speed equal or greater than 250 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Semi High-Speed Railways including Urban/Suburban/ Intercity/ Regional Passenger Transit Systems, projects with operational speed equal to or greater than 160 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Metro Railways excluding LRT/Tram/Monorail Systems, projects shall only be considered for evaluation.
