Job summary

SYSTRA is seeking a Site Engineer-SCADA-2 for the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High Speed Rail project. You will assist in design reviews, supervise SCADA installation, integration and testing, and coordinate interfaces with electrical subsystems.

You will help ensure contractor payments and statutory approvals are obtained, under project leadership. Ideal candidates have a BE/BTech or Diploma in Electrical with several years in SCADA for rail projects, ready to work at site and contribute to a major

• Engineering graduates with electrical background and SCADA exposure.
• Experience in rail-based transit SCADA systems preferred.
• Understanding of design, installation, testing and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Assist in SCADA design reviews and system integration.
• Support installation, testing and commissioning of SCADA systems.
• Coordinate interfaces with electrical subsystems and prepare interface docs.
• Verify completed work and assist in contract payment processes.
• Coordinate with agencies to obtain statutory approvals and project sign‑offs.

Missions/Main Duties

> Assist Chief Expert in performing tasks that includes the follwoing but not limited to:

• Assist in Design review of SCADA System.
• Assist in Installation, Integration, Testing & Commissioning of SCADA. system.
• Assisting in Interfacing of SCADA System with other Systems including Electrical sub-system, and Interface document approval.
• Assisting in verifying completed work and prepare request for payment to contractors.
• Assist NHSRCL in obtaining statutory approvals.
• Assist and coordinate with various agencies i.e. ISA, CMRS etc. for successful completion of the project.
• Assist in any other roles and responsibilities required to be performed to complete the project and assigned by PD and Client(NHSRCL).

> Assist Dy. Chief Expert in performing tasks that includes the following but not limited to:

Profile/Skills

Min. Qualification

Engineering Graduate (B.E/B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical stream or equivalent )

Min. Experience

Engineering Graduate with 05 years, or Engineering Diploma with 07 years of experience inimplementation of SCADA Systems during construction phase in Rail-based Transit System project(s)*.

• Rail-based Transit System project(s) shall mean High-Speed Railways / Semi High-Speed Railways / Metro Railways projects as defined below:
• High-Speed Railways projects (ETCS based) with operational speed equal or greater than 250 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Semi High-Speed Railways including Urban/Suburban/ Intercity/ Regional Passenger Transit Systems, projects with operational speed equal to or greater than 160 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Metro Railways excluding LRT/Tram/Monorail Systems, projects shall only be considered for evaluation.
