Job summary

SYSTRA India is seeking a Site Engineer - Civil for the Hubballi and Bengaluru sites to supervise on-site civil activities, ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards, and support the project manager with progress reporting.

The ideal candidate should hold a Civil Engineering degree or diploma with railway execution experience and be willing to work on-site in challenging environments.

Qualifications

• Civil engineering degree or diploma with relevant rail infra experience.
• Experience in execution of railway infrastructure projects preferred.
• Willingness to work on-site in Hubballi/Bengaluru.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage on-site civil engineering activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Assist in the preparation and presentation of progress reports, technical documentation, and project updates to the project manager and clients.
• Ensure all civil works are completed within budget and on schedule.
• Address and resolve any technical issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.

Missions/Main Duties

Assist Resident Engineer -Civil in performing tasks that includes the following but not limited to :1.Supervise and manage on-site civil engineering activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards.2. Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.3. Assist in the preparation and presentation of progress reports, technical documentation, and project updates to the project manager and clients.4. Ensure all civil works are completed within budget and on schedule.5. Address and resolve any technical issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.

Profile/Skills

(i) Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum experience of 3 years or Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum experience 5 years in execution of railway infrastructure project.or(ii) At least 2 years experience in SE/SSE or equivalent Grade and above of Civil or of Railways and/or as AM and above in Civil department in RITES/ IRCON/RVNL or equivalent grade in Konkan Railway/MRVC/DFCCIL/ any JVs or SPVs with Ministry of Railways, any Metro Rail Corporation either individually or combined.
