Job summary

Aarvee Engineering is seeking an experienced civil engineer for on-site execution across heavy civil structures and railway projects. The role involves supervising pile foundations, rafts, and bridges, reading GADs and preparing BBS, and ensuring quality and safety on-site in Visakhapatnam and nearby areas.

The ideal candidate should have 5–10 years of field experience in infrastructure, railways, or public buildings, with proficiency in Excel for BBS, AutoCAD, and surveying tools.

Qualifications

• Education as stated: B.Tech / B.E. or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 5–10 years of proven on-site execution experience in infrastructure, railways, bridges or public/government buildings.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (for BBS/Billing), AutoCAD, and operational knowledge of Auto Level/Total Station.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction activities for structural elements including piles, raft foundations, columns, beams, slabs and retaining walls.
• Supervise construction of Box/Pipe Culverts, ROBs, RUBs, viaducts and related infrastructure.
• Read and interpret General Arrangement Drawings, prepare accurate Bar Bending Schedules, and plan material requirements.
• Conduct field alignment tests using Auto Level/Total Station, check concrete slump and cast test cubes, maintain strict safety protocols.
• Prepare subcontractor bills based on measurements and provide progress updates to project management.

Preferred candidate profile

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in heavy civil structures, railway bridges, or large-scale public utility buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Execution: Oversee daily construction activities for structural elements, including pile foundations, pile caps, rafts, columns, beams, slabs, and retaining walls.
• Railway & Bridge Works: Supervise the construction of Box/Pipe Culverts, ROBs (Railway Over Bridges), RUBs (Railway Under Bridges), viaducts, or associated public infrastructure.
• Drawing & Material Management: Read and interpret General Arrangement Drawings (GAD), prepare accurate Bar Bending Schedules (BBS), and schedule material requirements in advance.
• Quality & Safety Control: Conduct field alignment tests using Auto Level / Total Station, check concrete slump, cast test cubes, and maintain strict structural safety protocols.
• Billing & Reporting: Prepare subcontractor bills based on work site measurements and provide daily/weekly progress updates to the project management team.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
