Job summary

Sandip Lal Kedia seeks a Civil Engineer with 3–8 years of site execution experience to supervise civil works at railway project sites. You will ensure works conform to drawings, BOQ and specs, check measurements, MB/RA Bills, and maintain site reports while coordinating with officials, subcontractors and workers.

Ideal candidates will have a Civil Engineering diploma/degree and knowledge of AutoCAD, plus strong communication and team-management skills, and willingness to relocate to railway

Role & responsibilities

• Supervise and execute day-to-day civil works at railway project sites.


• Ensure construction work is carried out as per approved drawings, BOQ and specifications.


• Check site measurements, levels, quantities and quality of work.


• Prepare and maintain Measurement Books (MB), RA Bills, quantity statements and site reports.


• Coordinate with railway officials, subcontractors, labour teams and suppliers.


• Monitor daily work progress and ensure timely completion of assigned work.


• Manage site manpower, materials and construction activities.


• Check quality of materials and workmanship.


• Identify and resolve site-related issues in coordination with senior engineers/project management.


• Maintain daily progress reports and other project documentation.


• Ensure compliance with project quality standards and railway/site safety requirements.


• Support the project team in planning, execution and completion of civil works.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.


• 3 - 8 years of experience in civil construction/site execution.


• Candidates with Railway / Infrastructure / Government project experience will be preferred.


• Good knowledge of site supervision, BOQ, quantity measurement, MB and RA Bills.


• Ability to read and understand civil/structural drawings.


• Knowledge of AutoCAD will be an advantage.


• Good communication, coordination and team-management skills.


• Should be willing to work at railway project sites and relocate/travel as required.


• Practical knowledge of construction materials, quality control and site safety.


• Candidates with strong hands-on site experience are preferred.
