Purpose & Role of the Position
- Shift Management: Supervise and coordinate production activities during assigned shifts to achieve production targets and meet customer demands.
- Production Planning: Collaborate with the production planning team to ensure efficient use of resources, materials, and manpower.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor production processes to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of production technicians and operators, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Problem Solving: Identify production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
- Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including production reports, shift summaries, and quality control documentation.
Educational Qualifications
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. (Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.)

3-6 Years
Knowledge & Skills Required
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. (Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.)
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3-4 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and production scheduling.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving production issues.
- Drawing Reading and AutoCad
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and familiarity with SAP PP systems
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Lean Manufacturing and TQM principles.
