Job summary

JobItUs is seeking a Shift Incharge - Production in Vapi to lead plant and shift activities in a chemical environment. You will supervise shift manpower, ensure production plans are followed, and troubleshoot process and equipment issues to maintain safety and efficiency.

The role requires 4–8 years of experience in chemicals, strong leadership, good communication, and knowledge of batch manufacturing and safety practices. SAP exposure is an added advantage.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc/M.Sc in Chemistry is required.
• 4–8 years experience in chemical production/shift operations preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Handle complete plant and shift operations safely and efficiently.
• Supervise and manage shift manpower.

• Investigate root causes for failures, deviations, and abnormalities and implement corrective actions.
• Calculate and monitor product norms and yields.

• Ensure compliance with work permit systems and safety procedures.
• Maintain and review documentation as per ISO requirements.
• Support production planning activities (knowledge of SAP is an added advantage).
