Job summary

Prioritizes quality, cleanliness, and accurate reporting on the shop floor. Ideal candidates hold a B.Sc or Diploma in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, or related ITI, with 0-3 years of experience and a readiness to work

Qualifications

• 0-3 years experience in production operations.
• Experience with chemical batching and safe handling of materials.
• Familiarity with SOPs and shift documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with inbound logistics for raw materials.
• Adhere to safety and sustainability requirements.
• Follow SOPs and document all shop floor activities.
• Execute daily production batches in reactors/open vessels/drums.
• Record and report batch details.
• Supervise shop floor helpers.
• Coordinate with QA for batch results.
• Package, label and clean finished goods before handover to outbound logistics.
• Inspect and clean reactors, vessels and drums per CLIT framework.
• Calibrate equipment/instruments on the shop floor.
• Coordinate with maintenance during breakdowns.
• Record and report daily shift data.
• Troubleshoot with shift in-charge and suggest corrective actions.

OPERATOR

Overview:

Responsible for daily batches to meet production goals

Scope of Work:

1. Coordinating with inbound logistics department for acquisition of raw materials
2. Adhering to safety & sustainability requirements for operating the batches
3. Following SOPs and documenting all shop floor activities
4. Executing daily planned production batches in reactors/open vessels/drums
5. Observing and documenting all batch details
6. Managing helpers on shop floor for the support work
7. Coordinating with quality assurance department for batch results
8. Packaging, basic labeling & cleaning of finished goods/repackaged goods/trading goods before handing over to outbound logistics department
9. Cleaning & inspection of all reactors, open vessels & drums - CLIT (Initial Cleaning, Lubrication, Inspection & Tightening) Framework
10. Calibrating equipments/instruments required on shop floor
11. Coordinating with maintenance department in breakdown events
12. Recording & reporting daily shift data & information
13. Troubleshooting & suggestive actions, in coordination with shift in-charge

Experience:

0-3 years (depending on requirement)
