Job summary

Keka Inc. is seeking an O&M shift supervisor to oversee HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems on site in Delhi. You will coordinate electricians and technicians, ensure proper handovers, enforce safety rules, and maintain logs and MIS data for timely reporting.

The role emphasizes energy conservation, incident escalation, and close collaboration with AFM and supervisors to ensure reliable plant operation.

Responsibilities

• To ensure electrician and operator are closed up in advance to relieve the previous shift.
• To ensure all tools are mustered by Technicians and are as per the list.
• To ensure technicians fill log sheets for various equipment with correct data.
• To ensure technicians take proper rounds of all equipment rooms.
• To ensure energy conservation is achieved by judicious use of electrical energy.
• Investigating and repairing plant failures outside the PPM regime.
• Escalating to the APM any plant failures that cannot be fixed within an agreed timeframe or that require parts with long lead times or outside normal site spares.
• Monitoring responses to engineering help desk calls and ensuring timely closure.
• To ensure that all alarms from building management systems are monitored, acknowledged and actioned.
• To work with operators and technicians to ensure all personnel are familiar with mechanical and electrical plant.
• Ensure complete and correct filling of logs and other operational documents including site-specific Maintenance software data.
• Regular collection of accurate data and assimilation of MIS reports as required.
• Supervision of attendance, work, grooming and conduct of all technical staff in the shift.
• To hand over the shift to AFM/Supervisor of the following shift with full notes and a briefing.
• Safety and Security: to ensure security norms are not violated while taking vendor personnel around for maintenance.
• To ensure safety measures/procedures are followed while working on equipment.
• To ensure safety briefings/Tool box/Talk to workers.
• To ensure adherence to safety standards and work permits

Job description

• O&M of HVAC systems, DG sets, chillers, plumbing systems, fire & safety, civil repair & maintenance, elevators & escalators, solar systems, etc.
• To ensure that the electrician and operator have closed up well in advance to relieve the previous shift.
