Job summary

Akmv is seeking a Shift Engineer Property Management to oversee technical operations on assigned shifts. You will monitor electrical, HVAC, and building systems, ensure compliance with SOPs, and coordinate with control room and site teams.

You will perform preventive maintenance, maintain logs and equipment records, and address breakdowns promptly, escalating as needed to vendor teams and senior management while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in operating and monitoring MEP systems (Electrical, HVAC, DG sets, UPS, Lifts, STP/WTP, Fire, Plumbing).
• Commitment to preventive maintenance and SOP adherence.
• Strong issue resolution and breakdown troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience with shift handovers and documentation.
• Knowledge of safety standards and EHS compliance.

• Maintain logs, checklists, and equipment records.
• Attend to equipment breakdowns and identify root causes.

Job Title: Shift Engineer Property Management

Job Summary: The Shift Engineer is responsible for managing and monitoring all technical operations during assigned shifts, ensuring uninterrupted functioning of building systems, prompt issue resolution, and adherence to safety and maintenance standards.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Technical Operations & Maintenance
   • Operate and monitor MEP systems including Electrical, HVAC, DG sets, UPS, Lifts, STP/WTP, Fire systems, and Plumbing
   • Ensure all equipment runs as per manufacturer guidelines and SOPs
   • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities
   • Maintain logbooks, checklists, and equipment records
2. Breakdown & Troubleshooting
   • Attend to equipment breakdowns and technical faults during the shift
   • Identify root causes and carry out immediate corrective actions
   • Escalate major issues to senior management/vendor teams
   • Ensure minimum downtime of all critical systems
3. Shift Operations Management
   • Take and hand over charge during shift change with proper documentation
   • Ensure continuous availability of utilities (power, water, HVAC, etc.)
   • Monitor energy consumption and system performance
   • Coordinate with control room and site teams
4. Vendor & Contractor Coordination
   • Supervise vendor activities during the shift
   • Ensure work is executed as per safety and quality standards
   • Verify completion of assigned maintenance tasks
5. Safety & Compliance
   • Ensure compliance with EHS and safety standards
   • Follow LOTO procedures, PPE usage, and safety guidelines
   • Respond to emergency situations (fire alarms, power failures, system faults)
   • Support fire drills and emergency preparedness activities
6. Documentation & Reporting
