Job summary

Dalmia Bharat Group in Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh, is seeking a proactive maintenance professional to manage electrical breakdowns onsite, minimize downtime, and improve plant efficiency. You will coordinate with the Maintenance department during shutdowns, uphold health and safety standards, implement preventive maintenance, and contribute to digitization and analytics for better plant performance.

Responsibilities

• Attend to breakdowns onsite ensuring rapid response and minimize downtime for plant electrical equipment and machinery
• Drive growth for DBSIL at the plant level and align with long-term and short-term objectives
• Coordinate with Maintenance during shutdowns and ensure health and safety standards are met; ensure equipment complies with company and legal standards
• Plan and execute shutdowns and startups safely with minimum downtime; perform repairs to electrical equipment during production
• Maintain engineering workspace and control desk; manage maintenance inventory and requisition parts as needed
• Plan and execute manufacturing per production schedule and ensure safe plant operations
• Record and maintain complete operational logs; generate reports and document performance
• Prepare preventive maintenance schedules and monitor all engineering equipment and areas
• Monitor Fire/Life Safety systems and respond to emergencies; promote digitization and automation initiatives
• Develop the team, provide training; enhance employee satisfaction and engagement

• Financial Attend to breakdowns onsite ensuring that there is always a rapid response and that plant equipment and machinery breakdown time is minimized. Always endeavor to reduce downtime of the electrical equipments in the plantTake initiatives to drive growth for DBSIL at the plant level and ensure sustained growth in line with long-term and short-term objectives of the organization
• Customer Co-ordinate with Maintenance department of the distillery during shut downsEnsure all Health and Safety standards are met, and that all equipment complies with Company and legal standards
• Operations Undertake planning of Shut down and start up activity and safely implement shutdown & emergency activities with minimum down time in safe mannerCarry out repairs to electrical equipment during production, effectively and efficiently, either alone and/or as part of a teamMaintain the engineering working area and control desk in a good condition always and maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as neededPlan and execute manufacturing as per production scheduleEnsure safe plant operationsRecord and keep a logbook of the work completed. They are responsible for maintaining complete and accurate operational records in order to document performance.Prepare preventive maintenance schedules ensure all equipment and designated areas are maintained and making all reportsSchedule and execute preventive maintenance of all engineering equipmentsMonitor fire Alarm / Life Safety System systems as necessary, to be fully informed of the system operation and to handle emergencies involving the systemsEnsure initiation and sensitization of the employees towards digitization and automation of the processesFocus on utilization of advanced business analytics tools to derive key insights critical for the success of the organization
• Self/ Team Development Review and monitor performance of team members� and provide requisite developmental support/ inputsRecommend training as required for team�s developmentDevelop the team and update their knowledge base to cater the organization needStrategize avenues for enhancing employee satisfaction in the function, resulting in high engagement levels of employees
