Job summary

Trent Limited is seeking an HR Shared Services Lead to oversee end-to-end employee lifecycle operations for a large Indian workforce. You will manage a team of 10-14 HR Operations professionals, ensure payroll liaison, data governance and compliance, and drive process improvements across multiple locations.

You will collaborate with Payroll and Compensation teams, maintain HRMS data integrity, and report on headcount, attrition, and activity metrics to guide strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience leading end-to-end HR operations across multiple locations.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes, benefits, statutory compliance and data governance.
• Proven ability to drive process improvements and automation in HR services.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end employee lifecycle operations (hire-to-retire) for 30,000+ employees across India.
• Oversee BGVs and vendor management for HR services.
• Coordinate with Payroll and Compensation to manage salary revisions and changes.
• Ensure HRMS data accuracy, governance and timely reporting.
• Oversee leave and attendance management and employee documentation.
• Drive SLA adherence and continuous improvement in HR operations.
• Ensure statutory compliance related to PF, ESI, Gratuity and related benefits.
• Prepare and analyze HR metrics and dashboards.

Job Description:

The HR Shared Services Lead will be responsible for leading end-to-end employee lifecycle operations (Hire-to-Retire) across the organization while ensuring service excellence, process standardization, compliance, data governance, and continuous improvement. The scope of the role is to drive onboarding, employee movement, payroll liaising, system data upkeep, statutory benefits processing, exits, HR reporting and analytics. The incumbent will manage a team of 10-14 HR Operations professionals supporting a workforce exceeding 30,000 employees across multiple locations in India.

Your key responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, employee movements, payroll coordination, benefits administration, exits, and HR documentation.
• Oversee Background Verification (BGV) processes and vendor management.
• Partner with Payroll and Compensation teams for salary revisions, salary restructuring, and employee compensation changes.
• Ensure HRMS data management, accuracy, governance, and reporting.
• Leave and Attendance Management
• Manage letters requirement from employee life cycle and be responsible for clear employee files up-keeping.
• Drive SLA adherence, process improvements, automation, and operational efficiency.
• Manage statutory compliance related to PF, ESI, Gratuity, UAN, and other employee benefits.
• Ensure compliance with Indian Labour Laws and Wage Codes.
• Prepare and analyze HR metrics including headcount, attrition, employee movements, and operational dashboards.
