Job summary

Ameriprise India LLP seeks a senior ServiceNow Lead to design, develop and implement ServiceNow solutions across ITSM modules, including ITIL processes, GRC and HRSD. You will manage a team, collaborate with BAs to map requirements, drive Agile practices, and ensure code quality and integration with other enterprise systems.

The role requires 9–12 years in software development with ServiceNow ITSM expertise, strong communication, and industry certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, or comparable studies.
• 9-12 years of experience in Software Development.
• Experience in ServiceNow ITSM modules Testing (IM, PM, CM, KM, ESS, Discovery Asset, Service Catalog, CMDB, GRC, HRSD).
• High awareness of software quality, strong analytical and conceptual skills.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills and strong attention to detail required.
• Demonstrate strong ability to evaluate constraints, risks, and dependencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions.
• Manage a team of developers, providing guidance and oversight to ensure best practices and quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Drive the adoption of Agile methodologies within the development team.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership in the integration of ServiceNow with other enterprise systems.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ServiceNow features, with a focus on GRC and HRSD capabilities.
• Service Now Scripting experience – JavaScript, Angular JX, Jelly, XML, etc.
• Experienced in implementation of workflows, flow designer, script includes, client scripts, policies, etc.
• Design and implement ITSM Modules in ServiceNow, including Incident, Problem, Request, Change, Configuration, Service Portal.
• Knowledge of HRSD, ITBM, GRC & ITOM is a plus.
• Experienced in Service Now SOAP and REST Integration.
• Good to have knowledge on Workspaces.
• Ability to recognize potential and actual issues, need and opportunities for improvement in the implementation.
• Ability to find defects and effectively report them.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and drive adoption within the development team.
