Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited is seeking a skilled technology consultant to lead ServiceNow-based transformations. The role focuses on solution design, architecture, and executive-level presentations. You will coordinate global teams, develop business cases, and guide clients through landscapes of ITOM, ITSM, and enterprise service management.

You will present to executives, create build-ready proposals, and mentor peers while staying current on product developments and market differentiators.

Qualifications

• Experience in architecting and Solution consulting.
• Experience in ServiceNow solution design and transformation roadmap.
• Ideal: Consulting experience and/or certification as Technology Architect.
• Experience as solution architect or business consultant in a client-facing capacity on ServiceNow or similar platform.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate involved technology teams in on- and offshore locations across multiple regions.
• Develop technical solution design and create corresponding cost estimates.
• Present and discuss solutions with client executives.
• Help clients to simplify and improve operations by developing business cases and technology solutions.
• Facilitate client workshops, document business requirements and develop them into a proposed business case and solution design.
• Act as customers' key contact on the proposed technology solution and transition to Build team for implementation.
• Assist the sales team in qualification of customer needs and participate in acquiring strategic customers.
• Provide mentoring and training to peers, colleagues and partners.
• Demonstrations of the product to prospects and existing customers, onsite and remotely.

Technology/Tool Sets:

ITSM Platform (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.), ServiceNow ITOM, Software Asset Management, Enterprise Service management (HRSD, CSM, Industry solutions etc.)

Skill Profile

• Strong communication skills and experienced in communication at executive level
• Strong Process Analysis / Requirement gathering skills
• Experience in architecting and Solution consulting
• Experience in ServiceNow solution design and transformation roadmap
• Ideally, Consulting experience and/or certification as Technology Architect
• Experience as solution architect or business consultant in a client-facing capacity on ServiceNow or similar platform.
• ITIL Foundation is preferred
• Coordination, negotiation, and persuasion skills
• Ability to work with all levels of client and internal resources
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information in non-technical language

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate involved technology teams in on- and offshore locations across multiple regions
• Develop technical solution design and create corresponding cost estimates
• Present and discuss solutions with client executives
• Present technology solution to internal executive approvers
• Help clients to simplify and improve their operations by developing business cases, analysing clients as-is processes and creating technology solutions that support the client business drivers
• Facilitate client workshops, document business requirements and develop them into a proposed business case and solution design
• Act as customers' key contact on the proposed technology solution
• Responsible for creating SOW for the proposed solution
• Responsible for transitioning the solution to the Build team for implementation upon contract signature
• Assist the sales team in the qualification of customer needs
• Participation across the sales lifecycle on acquiring strategic customers
• Provide mentoring and training to peers, colleagues and partners
• Demonstrations of the product, both standard and tailored to prospects and existing customers, both onsite and remotely.
• Generation of product demo scripts and scenarios and maintaining demonstration environment(s)
• Responding to Request for Information/Proposal documents
• Staying current on product developments/releases to a level required for demo and POC/POV
• Staying current on competitive analyses and understanding differentiators between the company and its competitors
• Responsible for understanding business and technical problems addressed by the products including key regulations, business drivers, evolving business needs, security, etc.
• Act as the subject matter expert at Executive briefings / marketing events
