Job summary

Segment (Twilio) is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer focused on Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) to lead the design, architecture, development, and optimization of enterprise-scale solutions. The role requires a technical expert who partners with business leaders, PMO organizations, and platform teams to transform requirements into ServiceNow Platform solutions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of ServiceNow platform development experience.
• 3+ years hands-on experience implementing ServiceNow SPM/PPM solutions.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale ServiceNow transformations for global organizations.
• Experience delivering multiple end-to-end ServiceNow implementations.
• Experience with Agile, Hybrid, and Waterfall project delivery methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize ServiceNow SPM capabilities including Demand Management, PPM, Agile Development 2.0, Resource Management, Financial Planning, Investment Funding, and Strategic Planning.
• Translate business strategy into scalable ServiceNow solutions and operating models.
• Develop integrations using REST, SOAP, GraphQL, and integrate with enterprise systems; utilize Flow Designer, UI Policies, Client Scripts, and more.
• Monitor platform health, drive upgrades, patches, security assessments, and ensure availability, resilience, and security.
• Provide technical leadership across teams, mentor staff, lead architecture reviews, and push best practices.

Senior ServiceNow Developer

Position Summary

We seek a highly experienced ServiceNow Developer focused on Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) to lead the design, architecture, development, and optimization of enterprise‑scale solutions. The role requires a technical expert who partners with business leaders, PMO organizations, enterprise architects, and platform teams to transform business requirements into ServiceNow Platform solutions. The candidate will serve as a trusted advisor responsible for defining best practices, driving platform innovation, mentoring teams, and ensuring scalable, high‑performing solutions aligned with enterprise strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimize capabilities throughout the SPM Module, including Demand Management, Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Agile Development 2.0, Resource Management, Financial Planning, Investment Funding, Strategic Planning, and partner with PMO, Finance, Product, Technology, and Executive stakeholders to align strategic initiatives.
• Translate business strategy into scalable ServiceNow solutions and operating models.
• Design, configure, and develop advanced ServiceNow solutions utilizing Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, Client Scripts, UI Actions, ACLs, Service Catalog, Integration Hub, Workspace Experiences, and develop integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems; develop and support REST, SOAP, GraphQL, and event‑driven integrations.
• Monitor platform health, scalability, and performance; lead upgrades, releases, patch management; conduct performance audits and remediation; support security assessments and compliance; ensure solutions meet enterprise availability, resilience, and security requirements.
• Provide technical leadership across development teams; mentor developers, administrators, business analysts, and solution architects; lead design workshops, architecture reviews, code review sessions; manage delivery quality; drive innovation, continuous improvement, and adoption of best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of ServiceNow platform development experience.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience implementing and supporting ServiceNow SPM/PPM solutions.
• Experience leading enterprise‑scale ServiceNow transformations for global organizations.
• Proven success delivering multiple end‑to‑end ServiceNow implementations.
• Experience in Agile, Hybrid, and Waterfall project delivery methodologies.
• Experience working with executive stakeholders, PMOs, and enterprise architecture teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with one or more ServiceNow product areas: ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, SAM, Pro APM, CSM, HRSD, AI Platform, and GenAI capabilities.

Certifications

• Required: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD), ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Strategic Portfolio Management (CIS‑SPM).
• Preferred: Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Certified Master Architect (CMA), CIS‑ITSM, CIS‑ITOM.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline. Master’s Degree preferred.
