Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 6–9 years hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and platform engineering.
• Strong expertise in ServiceNow platform development, administration, and customization.
• Experience implementing and supporting ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Requests.

About Position:

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Platform Engineer with strong expertise in ServiceNow development, ITSM modules, Service Portal development, and workflow automation. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, customizing, and supporting ServiceNow solutions that improve IT service delivery, streamline business processes, and enhance operational efficiency. This position requires a strong understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities, integration technologies, and enterprise service management best practices.

What You'll Do:

• Develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications, modules, and platform customizations.
• Design and implement scalable workflows, automation solutions, and business process improvements within the ServiceNow platform.
• Configure and support ITSM modules including Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Service Requests, and Service Catalog.
• Develop and enhance Service Portal components, custom widgets, pages, and user interfaces.
• Create and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Script Includes, and Flow Designer implementations.
• Build and support integrations between ServiceNow and external enterprise applications using REST and SOAP APIs.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and provide timely resolution for development and production support incidents.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver effective ServiceNow solutions.
• Participate in solution design discussions and recommend best-fit ServiceNow capabilities based on business requirements.
• Ensure platform stability, security, scalability, and compliance with ServiceNow development standards.
• Perform unit testing, system testing, deployment validation, and post-production support activities.
• Maintain technical documentation, configuration records, and knowledge transfer materials.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and platform optimization activities.
• Contribute to Agile project delivery, sprint planning, estimation, and release management processes.
• Follow ServiceNow governance frameworks, coding standards, and best practices.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 6-9 years of hands‑on experience in ServiceNow development and platform engineering.
• Strong expertise in ServiceNow Platform development, administration, and customization.
• Extensive experience implementing and supporting ITSM modules including Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Service Requests.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Service Portal development, widget creation, and user interface customization.
• Experience developing workflows using Flow Designer and traditional workflow capabilities.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and UI Actions.
• Experience with ServiceNow platform customization and enterprise workflow automation.
• Strong understanding of Service Catalog development and request fulfillment processes.
• Experience building REST and SOAP integrations with third‑party applications and enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with CMDB concepts, configuration management, and asset management practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience supporting complex ServiceNow production environments.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and software development lifecycle processes.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work directly with business users, stakeholders, and cross‑functional technical teams.
• Experience in Enterprise Service Management and Digital Workflow Automation initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management and customer‑facing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, or CIS will be an added advantage.
