Apex - Tek Placement Consultants is seeking an experienced ServiceNow ITAM Developer to design, develop, configure, and implement IT Asset Management solutions on the ServiceNow platform in Pune. The candidate should have strong HAM/SAM knowledge and solid scripting skills.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to automate asset management, improve visibility, ensure compliance, and optimize asset utilization.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in ServiceNow platform development and IT Asset Management.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITAM, HAM, and/or SAM.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and UI Policies.
• Experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP APIs, Import Sets, and Transform Maps.
• Knowledge of asset lifecycle management, asset models, stockrooms, contracts, and asset-to-CMDB relationships.
• Understanding of software license management, software discovery, normalization, and reconciliation.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with SCCM, Microsoft Intune, or other asset discovery and inventory tools.
• Knowledge of CMDB, ITSM processes, and ITIL fundamentals.
• Experience with ServiceNow reports, dashboards, troubleshooting, testing, and deployments.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow ITAM applications and workflows.
• Implement and maintain HAM and SAM solutions.
• Develop Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, and Flow Designer workflows.
• Configure asset lifecycle processes including procurement, receiving, deployment, transfers, maintenance, and retirement.
• Work with the CMDB modules to maintain asset and configuration data.
• Develop integrations with third-party tools and asset discovery platforms.
• Configure Import Sets, Transform Maps, scheduled jobs, and data reconciliation processes.
• Support software license management, entitlement tracking, reclamation, and compliance reporting.
• Implement HAM/SAM workflows, automation, notifications, and approval processes.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, and provide production support.
• Participate in requirement gathering, technical design, testing, deployment, and documentation.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow ITAM Developer to design, develop, configure, and implement IT Asset Management solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The candidate should have strong knowledge of Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), asset lifecycle management, integrations, and ServiceNow platform development.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and functional consultants to automate asset management processes, improve asset visibility, ensure compliance, and optimize IT asset utilization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow ITAM applications and workflows.
• Implement and maintain Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) solutions.
• Develop Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, and Flow Designer workflows.
• Configure asset lifecycle processes, including procurement, receiving, deployment, transfers, maintenance, and retirement.
• Work with the Asset Management and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) modules to maintain accurate asset and configuration item data.
• Develop integrations with third-party tools such as SCCM, Microsoft Intune, discovery tools, procurement systems, and software inventory platforms.
• Configure Import Sets, Transform Maps, scheduled jobs, and data reconciliation processes.
• Support software license management, entitlement tracking, software reclamation, and compliance reporting.
• Implement HAM/SAM workflows, automation, notifications, and approval processes.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, perform root-cause analysis, and provide production support.
• Participate in requirement gathering, technical design, testing, deployment, and documentation.
• Follow ServiceNow development best practices and maintain platform performance and data quality.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong experience in ServiceNow platform development and IT Asset Management.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITAM, HAM, and/or SAM.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and UI Policies.
• Experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP APIs, Import Sets, and Transform Maps.
• Knowledge of asset lifecycle management, asset models, stockrooms, contracts, and asset-to-CMDB relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).

• Experience with ServiceNow ITAM implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices and enterprise asset management processes.
