Job summary

ServiceIO Consultancy Services in Kolkata seeks a junior ServiceNow Developer (ITOM) to assist in building and maintaining ITOM solutions on the ServiceNow platform. You will work under senior developers and align with ITIL practices.

The role expects 2–5 years of ITOM/ServiceNow exposure, basic ITIL knowledge, and strong communication to collaborate with stakeholders. Agile experience is a plus. CSA certification is mandatory.

2 to 5 years of experience in IT Operations Management and basic knowledge of the ServiceNow platform.

As a ServiceNow junior developer in ITOM, primary responsibility would be to assist in the development and maintenance of IT Operations Management solutions for organizations that use the ServiceNow platform. This would require a basic understanding of ServiceNow ITOM module, IT Operations Management processes, and ITIL best practices.

Key Duties And Responsibilities May Include

• Assisting senior developers in developing and implementing ITOM solutions that meet the needs of the organization.


• Supporting stakeholders in the gathering of requirements and in recommending solutions that meet their needs.


• Assisting in the development and maintenance of ITOM processes and workflows based on industry best practices and ITIL standards.


• Assisting in the configuration, customization, and maintenance of ServiceNow ITOM modules including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Orchestration.


• Collaborating with other ServiceNow functional teams to ensure effective integration of ITOM solutions with other ServiceNow modules.


• Ensuring adherence to ServiceNow platform architecture and best practices.


• Providing technical support and troubleshooting for ITOM solutions.


• Keeping up-to-date with the latest ServiceNow ITOM developments and recommending appropriate solutions to meet evolving business needs.


• Need to have a good understanding of programming concepts and experience in developing software solutions using any programming language.


• Need good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders and other ServiceNow functional teams. Experience with Agile software development methodologies would also be beneficial.


• CSA is must


• CIS would be added advantage
