Job summary

Verdantas is seeking a ServiceNow Architect to lead platform architecture across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and more. You will steer enterprise integrations with ERP, HRIS, identity systems, and API layers, and drive governance and data integrity through CMDB/CSDM designs while guiding a team of developers and admins.

You will own SDLC delivery, set technical standards, mentor staff, and collaborate with product owners and vendors to align the platform roadmap with business priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or IT or related field.
• 10+ years in enterprise IT with 5+ years architecting ServiceNow solutions at scale.
• Experience designing complex enterprise integrations with ServiceNow (Integration Hub, REST/SOAP, MID Server).
• Proven experience leading technical teams and owning delivery across multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Strong grasp of ITSM/ITIL processes and enterprise architecture principles.
• Excellent stakeholder communication — able to influence engineers and executives.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solution architecture across ServiceNow product lines (ITSM, ITOM, ITBM/SPM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps).
• Define platform standards, design patterns, data models, and governance for scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Translate business requirements into robust technical designs and make build-vs-configure decisions for long-term platform health.
• Architect and oversee integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems (ERP, CMDB sources, HRIS, identity/SSO, monitoring, APIs).
• Design integration solutions using Integration Hub, REST/SOAP web services, MID Servers, event-driven patterns, and data-import strategies.
• Establish integration governance, error-handling, reconciliation, and security standards; ensure auditable data flows.
• Lead CMDB/CSDM design and data integrity strategy across sources.
• Lead and mentor ServiceNow developers, admins, and consultants; set technical direction and uphold code reviews.
• Own delivery quality across SDLC — estimation, sprint planning, releases; manage dependencies.
• Coach team members, grow platform capability, align roadmap with priorities with product owners/vendors.
• Partner with product owners, business leaders, and vendors to align platform roadmap with organizational priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Governance & Strategy

• Chair the ServiceNow technical governance/CAB function; manage upgrades, technical debt, and instance strategy.
• Advise leadership on platform strategy, licensing implications, and emerging ServiceNow capabilities (including AI/Now Assist where relevant).

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or IT or degree in a relevant field
• 10+ years in enterprise IT, with 5+ years architecting and delivering ServiceNow solutions at scale.
• Demonstrated experience designing and delivering complex enterprise integrations with ServiceNow (Integration Hub, REST/SOAP, MID Server, web services, event/messaging patterns).
• Proven experience leading technical teams and owning delivery quality across multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Strong grasp of ITSM/ITIL processes and enterprise architecture principles.
• Excellent stakeholder communication — able to influence both engineers and executives.

Certifications

• ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) strongly preferred (or Certified Master Architect).
• Certified System Administrator (CSA) required.
• One or more Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) credentials (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM).

Preferred

• Exposure to Agile delivery, DevOps for ServiceNow (CI/CD, automated testing/ATF), and multi-instance/global deployments.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and enterprise identity (SSO/SAML/OAuth).
