Job summary

Dotsquares is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Architect to own end-to-end solution architecture across ITOM, CMDB/CSDM, and integrations on the Now Platform. You will drive design authority, governance, and scoping for enterprise-level implementations, with a strong emphasis on security and scalable integration patterns.

The role requires 8+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience, leadership of agile teams, and a track record of delivering Store-ready and production-grade solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on ServiceNow across design and build.
• Deep ITOM architecture: Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Cloud Discovery, MID Servers.
• Proven CMDB/CSDM governance: IRE internals, multisource reconciliation, discovery sources, CMDB Health, class-model governance.
• SCOPED-application architecture on the Now Platform, including security design (ACLs, roles, data policies, cross-scope patterns).
• Integration architecture at scale: IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, ETL/RTE, REST/SOAP, credential/alias models.
• Estimation and solutioning ownership: produced effort estimates, work-package breakdowns, and technical proposals.
• Agile delivery leadership with Git-based engineering (branching strategy, PR review as design gate).
• Track record of taking applications to production or Store-ready state end to end.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solution architecture: current-state assessment, target-state design, gap analysis, impact inventories, migration and rollback plans.
• Define integration architecture - IntegrationHub ETL/RTE, Data Stream, REST/SOAP, MID Server topology, credential and connection design (including CCF).
• Govern CMDB/CSDM alignment: data models, IRE identification and reconciliation rules, discovery-source strategy, CI-identity preservation across upgrades and migrations.
• Set and enforce engineering standards: scoped-app structure, ACL/security models, update-set-free Git delivery, minimal-and-reversible change discipline.
• Lead technical responses to RFPs/RFIs: solution narratives, architecture diagrams, effort estimation, work-package structuring, risk registers, and assumption frameworks.
• Run discovery workshops and design-authority sessions with client architects and platform owners.
• Translate evaluation findings into scoped, priced, traceable remediation programmes.
• Act as design authority across sprints: review pull requests for architectural conformance, approve technical decisions, own the technical risk register.
• Define ATF and evidence strategy - regression coverage, access-matrix testing, pre/post data comparison, traceability from finding to fix to test.
• Ensure every release is deployment-ready: packaging, installation guides, design documents on ServiceNow templates, dependency and entitlement callouts.
• Mentor senior developers; run design reviews and build internal capability (SGC, CCF, ITOM specialisms).
• Certifications: CSA required; CAD plus CIS Discovery / Service Mapping / Event Management strongly preferred; CTA or CMA a major plus; CIS Data Foundations accepted as CMDB/CSDM equivalent.

Key Responsibilities :

Architecture & Design Authority

• Expert CMDB/CSDM: IRE internals, multisource reconciliation, discovery sources, CMDB Health, class-model governance
• Proven scoped-application architecture on the Now Platform, including security design (ACLs, roles, data policies, cross-scope patterns)
• Integration architecture at scale: IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, ETL/RTE, REST/SOAP, credential/alias models
• Estimation and solutioning ownership: has personally produced effort estimates, work-package breakdowns, and technical proposals that won or delivered enterprise engagements
• Agile delivery leadership with Git-based engineering (branching strategy, PR review as design gate)
• Track record of taking applications to production or Store-ready state end to end
