Job Title: ServiceNow APM Application Portfolio Management

Responsibilities

• We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled ServiceNow APM Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Application Portfolio Management (APM) along with good understanding of CMDB, CSDM, Discovery, and integrations within the ServiceNow ecosystem. You will be responsible for designing, configuring, implementing, and optimizing APM solutions that provide visibility, governance, and value-based insights into enterprise applications.
• Design, configure, and implement ServiceNow APM modules including Application Inventory, App Rationalization, Business Capability Mapping, and Technology Portfolio Management.
• Gather and translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable APM solutions.
• Work closely with architects, product owners, and process consultants to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with CSDM standards.
• Integrate APM with CMDB, Discovery, Business Capabilities, ITFM, and other ServiceNow modules.
• Develop custom dashboards, reports, data models, and automation workflows to support application lifecycle management.
• Ensure accurate and high-quality application data by defining data models, governance rules, and supporting data onboarding.
• Support upgrades, patching activities, and adoption of new APM functionalities in latest ServiceNow releases.
• Conduct solution demos, participate in design workshops, and deliver technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure platform compliance with best practices.

Skill Requirements

• 7 12 years of overall IT experience with 5+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow.
• Strong knowledge and implementation experience in ServiceNow APM.
• Solid understanding of CSDM and its mapping with APM.
• Experience integrating APM with CMDB, Discovery, ITSM, ITBM/ITFM, and Agile modules.
• Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting: Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, Flows.
• Experience with IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP APIs.
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Must Have Skills

• ServiceNow Certifications: CSA, CAD, Implementation Specialist APM/ITBM/CMDB/Discovery.
• Strong understanding of CMDB, Discovery, and APM dependencies.
• Hands on experience with data modelling, data governance, and APM data ingestion.
• Exposure to ITSM, ITOM, ITBM/ITFM, CSDM 4.0+.

Good To Have Skills

• Experience with Application Rationalization frameworks.
