Job summary

MNC is seeking a skilled ServiceNow ACCV Implementation Specialist to drive hands-on deployment, configuration, and optimization of ACCV, Discovery, and Service Mapping for a major enterprise client. You will own end-to-end technical execution and ensure a robust CMDB aligned with CSDM 4.0.

The role requires 7+ years in ServiceNow development with deep ITOM experience, strong ACCV expertise, and proficiency in scripting, OS administration, and cloud platforms. Immediate joiners preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of ServiceNow development and implementation experience, including at least 5 years in ITOM (Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB).
• Hands-on ACCV deployment experience at scale in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of agent-based vs agentless discovery, TLS, certificates, and MID server setup.
• Proficient in JavaScript, PowerShell, Shell, and Regex for pattern creation and customization.
• Familiarity with OS administration and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).

Responsibilities

• Hands-on ACCV Deployment: Install, configure, and troubleshoot ACCV agents and policies across Windows, Linux, macOS.
• Discovery & Integration: Configure and maintain ServiceNow Discovery incl. credentials, IP ranges, and schedules.
• Service Mapping: Build, configure, and maintain top-down Service Maps using pattern-based and tag-based mapping.
• Pattern Development: Develop, customize, and debug discovery patterns, probes, and sensors.
• CMDB Configuration: Align CIs with the CSDM 4.0 model for quality dependency mapping.
• Agent Troubleshooting: Resolve ACCV agent communication, performance, or security issues with client teams.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow ACCV Implementation Specialist / Developer to drive the hands-on deployment, configuration, and optimization of ServiceNow Agent Client Collector for Visibility (ACCV) for our enterprise customer. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end technical execution of ACCV, Discovery, and Service Mapping, ensuring a robust, healthy, and comprehensive CMDB.

Key Responsibilities

• Hands-on ACCV Deployment: Install, configure, and troubleshoot ServiceNow Agent Client Collector (ACC) agents and policies across diverse operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS).
• Discovery & Integration: Configure and maintain ServiceNow Discovery, including credentials, IP ranges, behaviors, and schedules to support ACC-V discovery methods.
• Service Mapping: Build, configure, and maintain precise top-down Service Maps using both pattern-based discovery and tag-based mapping.
• Pattern Development: Develop, customize, and debug ServiceNow discovery patterns, probes, and sensors to identify unique, non-standard, or custom infrastructure components.
• CMDB Configuration: Populate and align configuration items (CIs) with the ServiceNow Common Service Data Model (CSDM 4.0) to ensure high-quality, structured dependency mapping.
• Agent Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve ACC agent communication, performance, or security issues, collaborating closely with client security and infrastructure teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience: 7+ years of ServiceNow development and implementation experience, with at least 5 years dedicated heavily to ServiceNow ITOM (Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB).
• Deep ACCV Expertise: Strong, referenceable hands-on experience deploying Agent Client Collector for Visibility (ACCV) at scale in enterprise environments.
• Technical Skills:
  • Solid understanding of agent-based vs. agentless discovery methods and security protocols (TLS, certificates, MID server setup).
  • Strong scripting skills in JavaScript, PowerShell, Shell, and Regex (regular expressions) for pattern creation and customizing Discovery.
  • Familiarity with OS administration (Linux/Unix, Windows Server, cloud environments like AWS/Azure).
• Architecture & Standards: Practical understanding of the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) framework and how it relates to Service Mapping and Asset Management.
• Certifications (Highly Preferred):
