Job summary

Pagaar India is hiring a Service Technician for the Pune region. This field-service role requires conducting monthly visits to channel partners, performing battery inspections, and handling warranty adjudication as per SOPs.

The position offers a 1-year contract with third-party payroll through TeamLease, responsibilities include stock verification, warranty billing within TAT, coordinating with Retail Partners, and delivering service training. Travel to partner sites is required.

Qualifications

• BE / Diploma / Graduate in Electrical or Mechanical.
• 13+ years of experience in field service.
• Experience with automotive service and warranty processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct monthly visits to assigned Channel Partners as per the Permanent Journey Plan (PJP).
• Conduct physical battery inspections and handle warranty adjudication as per company SOPs.
• Perform stock verification and FIFO checks at Channel Partner locations.
• Manage warranty orders and ensure timely warranty billing within TAT.
• Coordinate with Retail Partners and Channel Partners to maintain strong business relationships.
• Conduct service awareness and training for Channel Partners, Retail Partners and mechanics.
• Identify reasons for warranty increases and implement measures to control warranty percentage.
• Support the team in appointing GBSPs in vacant territories.
• Ensure proper warranty settlement practices within the assigned geography.
