Job summary

KONE in Bangalore is hiring Service Technicians. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on elevators and escalators, ensuring safety, reliability and optimal performance during service visits.

You will attend breakdown calls and record work accurately, while building strong customer relationships and following company safety guidelines. Fresh diploma or ITI graduates from Mechanical, Electrical, EEE or ECE streams are encouraged to apply.

What will you be doing?

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities on elevators and escalators.
• Ensure equipment safety, reliability, and optimal performance during service visits.
• Attend breakdown calls and service requests within the assigned area.
• Maintain accurate service records and timely reporting of completed work.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships through professional communication and quality service.
• Identify service repair requirements and elevate site risks whenever necessary.
• Follow company safety guidelines, maintenance procedures, and quality standards.
• Manage tools, equipment, and spare parts responsibly.
• Coordinate with supervisors for workload planning, technical support, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What We Are Looking For

• Diploma graduates or ITI from Mechanical, Electrical, EEE, or ECE streams.
• Strong interest in field service and maintenance operations in elevator industry.
• Good communication and customer handling skills.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned service area.
• Eagerness to learn and build a long-term career in the elevator and escalator industry.

Freshers - If you are a Diploma 2025 and 2026 passed-out and the salary package is 17k Gross (per month).
