Job summary

Luxury Ride Karnal is seeking an experienced Workshop Head to manage the full operation of the service facility in Karnal. The role demands hands-on leadership in automobile servicing, diagnostics, repairs and workshop management, with a preference for luxury and premium cars.

You will supervise technicians and service advisors, coordinate with customers on repair requirements, and ensure quality, safety and timely delivery of vehicles while driving workshop revenue and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in automobile workshop operations.
• Luxury or premium car servicing experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and diagnostic systems.
• Experience supervising technicians and service staff.
• Valid driving licence preferred.
• ITI/Diploma/B.Tech in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering preferred.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Workshop Head to manage the complete workshop operations of Luxury Ride Karnal. The candidate should have strong experience in automobile servicing, diagnostics, repairs and workshop management, preferably with luxury and premium cars.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day workshop operations and ensure smooth workflow.
• Supervise technicians, service advisors and workshop staff.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and technical issues.
• Ensure timely completion of vehicle servicing and repairs.
• Inspect vehicles before delivery and maintain quality standards.
• Handle complex technical problems and guide technicians in troubleshooting.
• Monitor workshop productivity, efficiency and turnaround time (TAT).
• Prepare and monitor job cards, estimates and repair orders.
• Coordinate with customers regarding repair requirements, estimates and delivery timelines.
• Ensure proper usage and maintenance of workshop tools and equipment.
• Monitor spare parts requirements and coordinate with the Parts Department.
• Maintain workshop cleanliness, safety and discipline.
• Control rework and ensure first-time-right repairs.
• Maintain service records and daily/monthly workshop reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures.
• Support management in improving workshop revenue and customer satisfaction.

Candidate Profile

• 10 + years of experience in automobile workshop/service operations.
• Experience with luxury/premium cars is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and diagnostic systems.
• Experience in handling and supervising a team of technicians.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Good customer-handling and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple vehicles and workshop priorities.
• Knowledge of OBD/diagnostic tools and modern vehicle systems.
• ITI/Diploma/B.Tech in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Valid driving licence preferred.
