Job summary

Jobitus in Bengaluru requires a Field Service Engineer to install, commission, and service equipment at client sites. The role includes on-site support, troubleshooting, and coordinating with sales and product teams to meet customer needs.

You will conduct customer training, prepare service documentation, and ensure timely resolution of field service issues while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site installation, validation and commissioning of equipment.
• Perform hands-on on-site troubleshooting, service and repairs.
• Provide high-level technical support to external customers at their location.
• Provide on-site training to the customers.
• Interface with cross-functional teams: field applications, customer support, product management, manufacturing and marketing/sales.
• Develop service technical documentation and maintain service information in the enterprise database.
• Triage field service issues and ensure timely completion of paperwork and customer satisfaction.

Job description

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Attend pre-sales client meetings and presentations with account representatives.
• Determine scope and develop proposals.
• Identify client requirements: (technical requirements, client infrastructure, configuration, and requirements), technical design (including solution configurations and diagrams) and planning phases of the sales cycle.
• Provide the implementation team with all necessary documentation for the successful completion of the project (including solution configurations and diagrams).
• Provide pre-sales support for new and existing customers.
• Work with sales to provide a response for technical RFI/RFP questions.
• Participate in all scheduled sales team meetings/conference calls and sales trainings.
• Visit to existing Customer and New Customer Monthly and Generate Inquiry.
• Follow up to Convert Inquiry to order
• Provide on-site installation, validation and commissioning of Equipment’s
• Perform hands-on on-site troubleshooting, service and repairs
• Provide `high-level technical support to external customers at their location
• Provide on-site training to the customers
• Interface with cross-functional work teams such as field applications, customer support/services, product management, manufacturing and marketing/sales
• Develop Service technical documentation
• Create and maintain service information in the company enterprise database
• Timely and professionally handle field service calls and issues arising from the field service visits, triage with field applications scientists as appropriate
• Timely complete and submit all required paperwork
• Communicate with the customer to ensure satisfaction and implement any necessary corrective actions
• Misc. other duties commensurate with the capabilities of a Field Service Engineer
