Job summary

Recex Pvt Ltd. in India is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join the team for on-site installation, commissioning, and hands-on troubleshooting at customer locations.

You will work with sales and engineering to capture requirements and deliver solutions, including documentation and service support. The role involves travel to customer sites, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and providing on-site training and technical support as needed.

Responsibilities

• Attend pre-sales client meetings and presentations with account representatives.
• Determine scope and develop proposals.
• Identify client requirements: technical requirements, client infrastructure, configuration, and requirements; technical design (including solution configurations and diagrams) and planning phases of the sales cycle.
• Provide the implementation team with all necessary documentation for the successful completion of the project (including solution configurations and diagrams).
• Provide pre-sales support for new and existing customers.
• Work with sales to provide a response for technical RFI/RFP questions.
• Participate in all scheduled sales team meetings/conference calls and sales trainings.
• Visit to existing Customer and New Customer Monthly and Generate Inquiry.
• Follow up to Convert Inquiry to order.
• Provide on-site installation, validation and commissioning of Equipment’s
• Perform hands-on on-site troubleshooting, service and repairs
• Provide high-level technical support to external customers at their location
• Provide on-site training to the customers
• Interface with cross-functional work teams such as field applications, customer support/services, product management, manufacturing and marketing/sales
• Develop Service technical documentation
• Create and maintain service information in the company enterprise database
• Timely and professionally handle field service calls and issues arising from the field service visits, triage with field applications scientists as appropriate
• Timely complete and submit all required paperwork
• Communicate with the customer to ensure satisfaction and implement any necessary corrective actions
• Misc. other duties commensurate with the capabilities of a Field Service Engineer
