Job summary

ITT Inc. in India seeks a field service engineer with 8–10 years' experience in API and centrifugal pumps. You will oversee erection, commissioning and troubleshooting of IP pumps across locations in India, while promoting Pump Smart and iALERT solutions and ensuring timely service payments.

Role requires rapid learning of pumps and systems, plus strong client communication. BE/BTech in Mechanical is expected, with field deployment and training responsibilities as part of ongoing product support.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of pumps and systems with ability to learn quickly.
• Understanding of commissioning procedures for IP pumps.
• Experience with API and centrifugal pumps is expected.

Responsibilities

• Erection, commissioning and troubleshooting of IP pumps at sites.
• Explore market for installation of Pump Smart & iALERT for pumps.
• Follow up and collect payments for services with customers/dealers.
• Provide quick response to breakdown jobs and support new product development.
• Conduct training from sites to improve product efficiency.
• Collect pump performance feedback and maintain records.
• Visit customers to resolve complaints and submit monthly service reports.

Essential Responsibilities

• For Erection, commissioning and trouble shooting of IP pumps at various locations in India.
• Explore market for installation of Pump Smart & iALERT for our pumps and other make pumps.
• Follow up and collection of payments for services with various customers/dealers
• Erection, Commissioning and Trouble shooting of IP pumps.
• Quick response to customer under break dawn jobs.
• Support in Operation and New Product Development as when asked for.
• Conduct training session on learning from sites so as to bring efficiency in product
• Collection of pump performance feed- back from various customers and update the records.
• Visit customer to resolve Customer compliant issues.
• Submit monthly report on Service activity and keep log of service activity to monitor aging of complaints or request.

• Knowledge on Pumps and systems and to be a fast learner
• Knowledge on commissioning procedure for IP pumps.
• BE/B Tech (Mech) with 8-10 years of experience in API and centifugal pumps.
