Job summary

Candidates should have 2–3 years of experience, with preferred degrees in mechanical engineering or electronics, and willingness to travel for site servicing and after-hours work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a commercial gym setup.
• Degree or certification in mechanical engineering, electronics, or a related field preferred.
• Hands-on experience with gym equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Install and set up new gym equipment per manufacturer specifications.
• Repair and perform preventive maintenance to extend lifespan.
• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
• Conduct safety inspections and maintain records of safety checks.
• Manage spare parts inventory and order replacements as needed.
• Travel and work outside regular hours to fit gym operating schedules.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure equipment is in optimal condition.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure the safety of members and staff during repairs.

5. 5. Manage inventory of spare parts and order replacements as needed.
6. 6. Willingness to travel and work outside regular business hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate gym operating schedules.

Requirement:

1. 1. Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools.

5. 5. Strong mechanical and electrical skills for troubleshooting and repairing various gym equipment, including treadmills, ellipticals, weight machines, and cardio machines.
6. 6. Knowledge of control systems, sensors, and electronic components used in gym equipment.
7. 7. The ability to handle multiple repair and maintenance tasks simultaneously in a busy gym environment.
8. 8. Effective time management skills to complete repairs and maintenance tasks within a reasonable timeframe to minimize downtime.
9. 9. Relevant experience required of minimum 2- 3 Years in commercial gym setup.
10. 10. A relevant degree or certification in mechanical engineering, electronics, or a related field is preferred. Certifications from equipment manufacturers or industry organizations can be advantageous.
