Job summary

ANS IT India Pvt. Ltd. in India is seeking a hands-on Service Engineer to install, configure, maintain and repair GPS, telematics, fuel and video-telematics devices on vehicles and assets. This field role requires practical hardware skills and willingness to travel extensively.

You will diagnose faults, complete installation tickets within SLA, verify data transmission, and keep accurate service records while coordinating with the Service Manager on schedules and spares.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years in device installation or field service.
• Hands-on hardware installation and fault-diagnosis ability.
• Willingness to travel to sites and work infield.

The Service Engineer is the hands-on technical backbone of ANS IT India in the field — installing, configuring, maintaining and repairing GPS, telematics, fuel and video-telematics devices on vehicles and assets. This is a practical, mobile role for someone who enjoys working with hardware and solving problems on the ground.

Experience Required

1–4 years in device installation or field service; strong freshers with relevant technical training may apply\.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure and commission GPS, telematics, fuel and dashcam devices on vehicles and assets.
• Diagnose and repair device faults, wiring and connectivity issues in the field.
• Complete assigned installation and service tickets within SLA.
• Test and verify device functionality and data transmission after every job.
• Maintain accurate job, device and service records via the assigned system.
• Coordinate with the Service Manager on schedules, spares and escalations.
• Hands-on device installation, wiring and fault-diagnosis ability
• Practical understanding of vehicle electricals and electronics
• Comfort with field work and extensive travel
• Discipline in completing and documenting jobs accurately
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel to sites
