Job summary

Retrack Automation Pvt. Ltd. in Bengaluru is seeking a Service Engineer to install, maintain, and troubleshoot fuel management, RFID, GPS systems at customer sites across India.

The role is full-time and based in Kengeri, Bengaluru, with travel to client locations nationwide. The ideal candidate will have ITI/ Diploma / BE/B.Tech in electrical/electronics/mechanical, basic English, and Hindi communication, and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• ITI/ Diploma / BE/B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical.
• Basic understanding of electrical wiring and troubleshooting.
• Ability to use a multimeter and standard installation tools.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission fuel management controllers, RFID readers, GPS devices, and sensors.
• Carry out wiring, device configuration, testing, and system commissioning.
• Diagnose electrical/hardware issues and resolve connectivity problems.
• Support dispenser, flow meter, and bowser installations.
• Perform preventive maintenance and equipment replacements.
• Train customer operators on usage and basic troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with the technical team to resolve site issues.
• Maintain installation records and daily work reports.
• Follow site safety procedures and handle tools responsibly.

We are looking for a Service Engineer to install, maintain, and troubleshoot our systems at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and commission fuel management controllers, RFID readers, vehicle tags, GPS devices, and fuel level sensors.
• Carry out wiring, device configuration, testing, and system commissioning.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, hardware, connectivity, and device communication issues.
• Support fuel dispenser, flow meter, and bowser automation installations.
• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and equipment replacements.
• Train customer operators on system usage and basic troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with the technical team to resolve site issues.
• Maintain installation records, service reports, and daily work updates.
• Follow site safety procedures and handle tools and equipment responsibly.

Qualifications and Requirements

• ITI, Diploma, or BE/B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or a related discipline.
• Basic understanding of electrical wiring, electronics, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to use a multimeter and standard installation tools.
• Hindi communication is mandatory. Basic English communication is required.
• Willingness to travel frequently and stay at customer sites when required.
• Ability to work independently, coordinate with customers, and complete assigned tasks responsibly.

Experience That Will Be an Added Advantage

Candidates with hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas will be preferred:

• Fuel industry equipment installation, servicing, or maintenance.
• Fuel dispensers, diesel pumps, flow meters, and bowser systems.
• GPS device installation, vehicle wiring, and tracking systems.
• Fuel level sensor installation and calibration.
• RFID, IoT devices, or industrial automation systems.

Freshers with strong practical skills and a willingness to learn are also welcome.
