Job summary

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Diploma with minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in construction equipment servicing or heavy machinery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic inspections of Works Platforms, Rack and Pinion Hoists, Winch Hoists, Suspended Platforms, Tower Cranes, and other critical construction equipment.
• Ensure equipment is operating safely and identify unsafe or abnormal operating conditions.
• Report inspection findings and coordinate with concerned teams for timely corrective actions.
• Prepare inspection reports and submit them to the Mechanical Incharge, Civil Incharge, Division Head, and Safety Head within timelines.
• Highlight abnormal or risky machine operations to senior personnel at site.
• Verify whether scheduled machine maintenance has been carried out.
• Ensure safe site conditions around machinery and report safety concerns.
• Ensure proper storage and maintenance of machines and spare parts.
• Coordinate equipment inspection, certification, and related activities.

Mechanical Engineer Machine Inspection

1. Job Purpose

To conduct periodic inspections of construction equipment and ensure safe operating conditions, proper maintenance, and compliance with safety requirements.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic inspections of Works Platforms, Rack and Pinion Hoists, Winch Hoists, Suspended Platforms, Tower Cranes, and other critical construction equipment.
• Ensure equipment is operating safely and identify unsafe or abnormal operating conditions.
• Report inspection findings and coordinate with the concerned teams to ensure timely corrective actions.
• Prepare inspection reports and submit them to the Mechanical Incharge, Civil Incharge, Division Head, and Safety Head within the specified timelines.
• Highlight abnormal or risky machine operations to the concerned senior personnel at site.

3. Experience

4. Preferred Industry Experience

Candidates with experience in construction machinery, material handling equipment, heavy machinery, equipment servicing, and inspection are preferred. Experience with companies dealing in PM lifts, works platforms, suspended platforms, tower cranes, elevators, and hoists will be an advantage.
