Job summary

JP Constro And Infra seeks a skilled maintenance professional to oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of construction equipment at project sites in Pune district. The role involves diagnosing faults, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring safety and efficiency of machinery. Prior experience in civil construction and road projects will be advantageous.

Experience with DG sets, generators, pumps, cranes, and other heavy equipment is preferred, with focus on minimizing downtime and cost.

Qualifications

• Experience in Civil Construction, Infrastructure, EPC, Road Projects, Bridges, Industrial Projects or Construction Equipment Maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Inspect equipment regularly to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Diagnose technical faults and arrange timely repairs to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with vendors, service providers and technicians for maintenance and repair work.
• Maintain maintenance schedules, service records, breakdown reports and equipment history.
• Monitor spare parts inventory and ensure timely availability of maintenance materials.
• Supervise installation, servicing and repair of equipment at project sites.
• Coordinate with project and site teams to address equipment-related issues.
• Monitor maintenance expenses and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures during maintenance activities.
• Prepare periodic maintenance reports and update management on equipment performance.
