Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automobile Engineering.
• 14 years of experience in servicing, maintenance, or troubleshooting of cranes or heavy machinery.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and hydraulic schematics.
• Hands-on experience in preventive maintenance and breakdown troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and maintenance practices for heavy equipment.
• Basic computer skills for service documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, inspection, preventive maintenance, and breakdown repairs of cranes at customer sites.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control system faults and implement appropriate solutions.
• Attend customer complaints and provide timely on-site technical support.
• Conduct routine servicing, equipment inspections, and safety checks as per company standards.
• Troubleshoot crane components, including engines, gearboxes, brakes, hydraulic systems, motors, and electrical circuits.
• Coordinate with customers to ensure timely resolution of technical issues and minimize equipment downtime.
• Maintain service reports, job cards, maintenance records, and spare parts consumption details.
• Identify spare parts requirements and coordinate with the service team for timely availability.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, technical standards, and company service protocols.
• Provide basic operator guidance on equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
