Job summary

Talent Seed Hr Services is hiring a Service Engineer for an MNC to carry out service, maintenance and troubleshooting of material handling equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, construction and heavy industrial equipment.

You will attend customer calls, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and electronic issues, install and commission equipment, maintain service reports, and travel to customer sites as required to ensure uptime and

• Hands-on experience with industrial equipment / material handling gear.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service, maintenance and troubleshooting of Material Handling Equipment such as Forklifts, Reach Trucks OR Construction Equipments OR Heavy Industrial Equipments.
• Attend customer complaints and breakdown calls at customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance as per service schedules.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and electronic issues in equipment.
• Conduct equipment inspection and identify potential failures to ensure machine uptime.
• Carry out installation, commissioning and testing of new equipment wherever required.
• Maintain proper service reports, breakdown reports and maintenance records.
• Coordinate with customers regarding service requirements, machine performance and technical issues.
• Ensure timely closure of customer complaints and maintain good customer relationships.
• Identify spare-parts requirements and coordinate with the concerned team for replacement.
• Follow company safety procedures, service standards and quality requirements.
• Support the service team in improving equipment availability and customer satisfaction.

• Basic understanding of hydraulics, batteries, motors, controllers and electrical systems will be an advantage.
• Good customer-handling and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites for service and breakdown support.
• Ability to independently diagnose technical problems and provide solutions.
