Job summary

Milacron India Pvt. Ltd. seeks a service-oriented professional to provide end-to-end customer support from installation through breakdowns and spare parts.

The role covers aftersales service and contributing to territory revenue, with a base in Kerala and collaboration with the Chennai service team. You will coordinate pre-installation needs, train customers on operation and troubleshooting, and pursue ongoing customer retention.

Qualifications

• BE/ BTech Electronics & Instrumentation, Electrical or Mechanical or Diploma variants listed.
• Experience in installations, breakdown and spare parts support, and aftersales service.
• Training customers on machine operation and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end support from installation to breakdown calls and spare support.
• Coordinate pre-installation requirements with customers and training for machine operation.
• Develop and implement corrective/preventive actions for machines and global action of all machines.
• Provide training to customers for machine operation and troubleshooting.
• Retain existing customers and visit to convert to repeat customers.
• Submit field return parts to factory for warranty cost recovery.
• Ensure compliance with operational control procedures and maintain history file.
• Generate ERN for machine modifications and spare parts recommendations.
• Prepare and submit service reports for each machine.
• Support design, assembly, and testing teams; develop FOC spare kits for sales engineers.
• Collect balance payments for spare parts.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

The purpose of the role is to provide end to end support to customers from installations of machines to breakdown and spares support. Also responsible for aftermarket sales revenue for the territory.

Work Youll Do:

• To Provide End to End support to customers from Installation of Machines to breakdown calls, machine problem, Spare Support, Training for Machine Operating, Processing Problem and Mold trails etc.


• Coordinate for pre installation requirement with customer.


• Developing & Implementation of the Corrective / Preventive actions for any Machine & further ensuring the Global Action of All Machines. Responsible for trouble shooting and providing solutions to overcome the problem.


• Provide training to customers for the Machine Operating & Trouble Shooting of Machine Issue


• Responsible for retention of existing customers and visiting customers regularly to ensure liaison & converting them into repeat customers,


• Submitting the Field return part to factory for analysis as well as to recover cost of warranty of the part.


• Ensuring compliance to operational control procedure requirements & maintain history file.


• Generation of ERN (Engineering Request Note) for Modification in Machines


• Generation of Spare Parts Business & Developing the Spare Parts recommendation


• Preparing & Submission of Service Report for each machine


• Providing Support & Suggestions to Design, Assembly & Testing Team


• Developing the FOC Spare Kit to Support Sales Engineers.


• Collection of Balance Payments for Spare parts.

Team:

Will be Part of Chennai Service team and the working location will be at Kerala.
