Job summary

Qualifications

• 8–15 years of relevant experience in service operations, preferably in testing machines or industrial equipment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electronics / Electrical / Instrumentation or related field).
• Experience leading service operations and driving service revenue.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage service operations and service sales across the West region.
• Oversee installation and commissioning of testing machines at customer sites.
• Drive service revenue growth through AMC, CAMC, R&S, O&M contracts, spares, repairs, and refurbishment services.
• Generate and convert service and upgrade enquiries into purchase orders.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual service forecasts for bookings and billing.
• Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints (warranty and non-warranty) and queries.

What Your Role Entails

Lead and manage service operations and service sales across the West region, ensuring achievement of revenue targets through AMC, repairs, spares, and refurbishment services. Oversee installation, commissioning, and timely resolution of customer issues while maintaining high service standards. Ensure all machines are calibrated and compliant with required procedures and NABL standards. Drive contract renewals and convert service opportunities into business growth. Build strong customer relationships to enhance satisfaction and long-term engagement.

What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities

Service Operations & Leadership

• Lead and manage service operations and service sales activities across the West region.
• Oversee installation and commissioning of testing machines at customer sites.

Revenue Generation & Business Growth

• Drive service revenue growth through AMC, CAMC, R&S, O&M contracts, spares, repairs, and refurbishment services
• Generate and convert service and upgrade enquiries into purchase orders.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual service forecasts for bookings and billing.

Customer Service & Relationship Management

• Ensure timely resolution of all customer complaints (warranty and non-warranty).
• Ensure timely resolution of customer queries related to service, billing, and payments.
• Build strong customer relationships and develop long-term engagement with key customers.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities by promoting additional product lines and services.

AMC, Calibration & Compliance

• Monitor and ensure calibration of all machines under contract as per defined standards and schedule.
• Drive timely renewal of AMC contracts and ensure completion of calibration activities.
• Ensure smooth transition of machines from warranty to AMC/calibration contracts.
• Ensure compliance with NABL standards and completion of related activities on time.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

• Perform advanced troubleshooting of electronic systems at component level.
• Ensure minimal downtime through efficient technical support and service delivery.

Administration & Documentation

• Maintain accurate records of machines, service activities, and calibration data.
• Manage administrative tasks including high-value quotations, vendor POs, and costing sheets.

Tools, Equipment & Process Management

• Ensure proper maintenance and periodic calibration of service tools and Equipment.
• Coordinate with service sales teams for timely submission of proposals for spares, consumables, and accessories.
• Collaborate with OEMs for spare parts procurement to minimize machine downtime.

Education

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electronics / Electrical / Instrumentation or related field.
