Job summary

DN Solutions is seeking a Senior Service Engineer in Hyderabad to deliver high-quality technical support and service solutions for machine tool systems. You will lead service projects, troubleshoot complex issues, and mentor junior engineers.

The role requires strong knowledge of Fanuc, Siemens, and Heidenhain controls, plus the ability to travel to customer sites and perform safety and quality checks. A Diploma in Mechatronics is preferred.

Qualifications

Department: Service Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Service Engineer - A Senior Service Engineer is responsible for delivering high-quality technical support and service solutions to clients, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of systems and equipment. This role involves leading service projects, troubleshooting complex issues, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify & rectify machine tool faults in a timely manner.
• Be responsible for servicing, maintaining, commissioning, installing and providing technical support for a wide range of Machine Tool products.
• Have a good understanding & working knowledge of machine tool control systems, in particular; Fanuc, Siemens and Heidenhain systems.
• Have a good understanding of machine tool alignments and geometry.
• Laser alignment and Ball bar experience would be beneficial.
• Provide our customers with the highest levels of service possible.
• Build rapport with colleagues and customers to improve results.
• Add value to the services provided and achieve first time fixes, leading to reduced breakdown times and lower costs to customer.
• Good understanding of Root Cause Analysis tools.
• Have a good knowledge of health & safety requirements.
• Ready to travel occasionally to overseas - Customer Site
• Communicating with clients, engineers, and other technicians to ensure that services are delivered effectively.
• Conducting quality assurance and safety checks on all equipment.
• Providing recommendations about new features and product improvements.
• Providing recommendation of spare parts for customer when needed.
• Document & Report writing on action taken and presenting findings to Managers and Supervisors on a regular basis.

Qualifications and required skills -:

• Diploma in relevant field is preferred. [D.M.E., D.E.E., Mechatronics]
• A relevant certificate is advantageous.
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
• A valid Passport
• Excellent active listening and customer service skills.
• The ability to deal with multiple requests without being overwhelmed.
