Job summary

Alliance Recruitment Agency seeks an experienced Service Engineer/Technician to install and commission CNC machines at customer sites. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues and perform regular preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

You will train client staff on operation and safety, document all service actions, and collaborate with sales to identify upgrade opportunities. This is an on-site role in Gujarat.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics engineering.
• Minimum 2 years proven experience as a Service Engineer or Technician in CNC manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of CNC systems, mechanical components, and control systems.
• Ability to read manuals, schematics, and machine drawings; good problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission CNC machines at customer sites with accurate setup.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and software issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation & Commissioning:Install and commission CNC machines at customer sites, ensuring accurate setup, calibration, and system integration.Conduct machine testing to confirm optimal performance according to manufacturer specifications.
• Troubleshooting & Repairs:Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues in CNC machines.Repair or replace faulty components to restore machine functionality quickly and efficiently.
• Preventive Maintenance:Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans to reduce downtime and prolong machine life.Regularly inspect and service machines to identify and address potential issues before they cause disruptions.
• Technical Support:Provide technical support to customers, addressing questions and resolving performance-related concerns.Assist clients with machine programming, software updates, and control system modifications.
• Training & Documentation:Train customer staff on the proper operation, maintenance, and safety protocols of CNC machines.Prepare detailed service reports, documenting all work completed, parts replaced, and future service recommendations.
• Customer Interaction:Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing timely, professional service.Work closely with the sales team to share feedback on customer needs and identify opportunities for machine upgrades or additional services.

Requirements

Education:Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.

Experience:Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as aService EngineerorTechnicianin the CNC machinery or manufacturing industry.Strong knowledge of CNC machine systems, mechanical components, and control systems.

Skills:Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and machine drawings.Strong problem-solving skills with experience diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and software issues.Hands‑on experience with machine tools, electrical systems, PLCs, and automation components.Proficiency with diagnostic tools, hand tools, and test equipment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
